When photovoltaic systems generate more electricity than is currently being consumed, storage solutions/energy storage systems can absorb this so-called “surplus” electricity and release it again when needed. In this way, they increase the proportion of usable, green electricity and at the same time reduce the load on the power grid.

KATANA is a lithium iron phosphate-based energy storage system that can be individually expanded. Between 3 and 6 modules can be plugged on top of each other in addition to the BMS (Battery Management System), thus achieving a capacity of 11.6 to 20.3 kWh. Thus, this modular system is perfect for PV beginners who want to increase their decentralized energy production. The KATANA series is compatible with all inverters and PV modules from the Kopp range.
