Photovoltaic modules
Photovoltaic modules/solar modules are the heart of photovoltaic systems. The modules convert solar energy (photons) into electrical energy thanks to the photovoltaic effect as soon as sunlight falls on the photovoltaic cells. To use the generated solar energy in the house or in the business, the modules are connected in groups.
Kopp uses monocrystalline photovoltaic modules, which have already become more and more popular on the market in recent years. This is primarily due to the higher module efficiency and thus better utilization of space, which is particularly noticeable on house roofs.
In the Kopp range you will find both half-cell and full-cell modules. Different designs with different numbers and sizes of photovoltaic cells used.
Half-cell modules are significantly more powerful than normal modules, although they are made of the same material.
This is due to the lower power losses of these cells, which in turn increase the efficiency of the photovoltaic module, thus achieving higher yields.
The modules are TÜV certified and Kopp gives customers a 12-year product warranty and a 25-year performance guarantee – out of conviction.
